Meet Brontie
Hi, I’m Brontie.
I’m a Career Mentor based in the Echuca office. I support young people to explore their interests, build confidence, and work towards employment goals that feel right for them. I have a background in Early Childhood Education and Disability Support, which has helped shape the way I support people in a calm, inclusive, and encouraging way.
I have five years’ experience working in the disability sector and eleven years in early childhood education. I chose to work in disability services because I wanted to make a positive difference in my local community. Echuca is a diverse place, and I saw a real need for dedicated, person-centred support.
In my role, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where participants feel comfortable being themselves. I love encouraging young people to explore their strengths, try new things, and consider different employment options that suit their interests and goals. I’m passionate about helping young adults build skills, confidence, and independence as they work towards meaningful employment.
Outside of work, I’m a big sports lover and enjoy playing netball on the weekends, as well as spending time with my family and friends.
