Meet Scott

Hi, I’m Scott.

I’m the Director and CoFounder of Connecting Futures, a purpose driven youth employment organisation I’ve been leading for over seven years. What started as a small business focused on NDIS capacity building has grown into a specialist youth employment service supporting young people aged 25 and under with disability, injury, or health conditions across regional Victoria and beyond.

At Connecting Futures, my focus is on building services that genuinely work for young people. We take a neuroaffirming, participantled approach, which means we adapt systems and environments to unlock potential — rather than expecting young people to fit into traditional models of employment. I’m passionate about creating meaningful, sustainable pathways to work by partnering with young people, families, educators, and employers.

My work is strongly shaped by lived experience. As an adult with ADHD and a parent in a neurodiverse family, I understand firsthand the barriers young people can face, and the difference the right support at the right time can make. This perspective informs everything we do and helps keep young people at the centre of every decision.

I bring leadership experience across the disability sector, education, government, registered training organisations, and the notforprofit space, including involvement in the rollout of the NDIS in regional Victoria. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Career Development and am deeply committed to building inclusive systems that create opportunity, dignity, and longterm outcomes for young people and their communities.
